Q. What is the policy for lesson cancellations/lesson make-ups?
There will be no lesson charge for missed lessons under the following circumstances:
- Previously scheduled conflicts (ex. vacation, work conflict, doctor appointment, etc.) = Only with notification by email, phone, or txt message, given a minimum of 48-hours prior to the date and time of the lesson.
- Emergencies or family crisis (ex. family tragedy, etc.) = No notification required prior to the lesson date and time in such situations, as courtesy however, notification after the fact will be appreciated.
All other missed lessons will be charged the full lesson fee, due the next lesson.
It is the parent’s/adult student’s responsibility to let me know via email correspondence, phone call, or txt message of any planned absences.
Questions regarding attendance, absences, or billing need to be handled within 3 weeks (ie. an immediate time frame). I do not offer refunds of any kind.
